Disclaimer

Effective date: 1 January 2026  ·  Last updated: 1 January 2026

Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using Pawsitivet products or relying on any information published on pawsitivet.com. By buying or using a Pawsitivet product, or by using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Disclaimer.

1. Pet supplement is not a medicine

Pawsitivet products are registered in Thailand as a pet supplement. They are intended to support general wellbeing in healthy cats and dogs. They are not medicines. They are not designed, intended, or approved to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition in any animal.

Statements about ingredients such as L-theanine, taurine, chamomile, astaxanthin, shiitake, beta-glucan, inulin, omega-3 fatty acids, and B-vitamins describe what those ingredients are commonly used for in companion-animal nutrition. They are not claims that our products will produce a specific medical outcome in your pet.

Caution: This is not intended to be a meal or medicine; use under veterinary guidance. Store in a cool and dry place. Once opened, refrigerate any unused portion and consume within 2 days. Not for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children or pets. Do not let your cat or dog chew or swallow packaging material.

2. Not a substitute for veterinary care

Nothing on this website, in our packaging, or in any of our marketing material is intended to replace professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If your pet is sick, injured, anxious in a way that disrupts their life, refusing food or water, vomiting, having seizures, losing weight, drinking or urinating unusually, or behaving abnormally in any other way, please consult a licensed veterinarian without delay. Do not stop, delay, or replace a treatment your vet has prescribed based on anything you read here.

If your pet is pregnant, lactating, very young, very old, post-surgery, immunocompromised, or already on prescription medication, please speak to your veterinarian before introducing any new supplement, including ours.

3. Individual results vary

Cats and dogs are individuals. Two animals of the same breed, age, and weight can respond differently to the same supplement. The effects you read about in testimonials, blog posts, or scientific literature describing an ingredient are not guarantees of the effect Pawsitivet will have on your pet. Reasonable expectations: supplements are part of a long-term wellness routine, not a switch. Most owners look for changes over weeks, not minutes.

4. Allergies, sensitivities, and adverse reactions

Although our recipes are formulated with familiar ingredients and we list every component on the pack, any pet can have an idiosyncratic reaction to any food or supplement. Signs of an adverse reaction may include itching, hives, swelling, vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy, behavioural changes, or breathing difficulties.

If you notice any of these signs after feeding Pawsitivet, stop using the product immediately and contact your veterinarian. If you can, retain the sachet, the LOT number, and the original packaging — that helps us and your vet investigate. Please also email us at safety@pawsitivet.com so we can record the case.

5. Use as directed

Follow the feeding chart on the pack and any additional instructions on this website. Do not exceed the suggested daily amount unless a veterinarian who knows your pet specifically tells you to. Supplements are intended to supplement a complete and balanced diet — they are not a meal replacement. Fresh clean water should always be available. Pawsitivet is intended for cats and dogs aged 2 months and older; it is not intended for newborns, humans, or animals other than cats and dogs.

6. Storage and shelf life

Store sachets in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened, a sachet should be served within 24 hours. Do not use a sachet after the expiry ("EXP") date printed on the pack. Do not use a sachet that is damaged, leaking, swollen, smells off, or looks discoloured. Keep the product away from babies and small children, and never let pets chew, swallow, or play with packaging material — it is not food.

7. Information on this website

We work hard to keep the information on pawsitivet.com accurate and up to date, including ingredient explanations, dosages, scientific references, comparison content, and FAQs. We do not, however, guarantee that everything on the site is complete, current, or free of errors.

8. Comparison content

Our website includes pages that compare Pawsitivet products to other products on the market, including our own commentary about industry practices we believe are misleading. Where we make factual statements about other products or regulators, those statements are based on publicly available records (such as regulator notices, label photographs, weight tests we have conducted, or public reporting) at the time of writing. We invite readers to verify those facts independently. If you believe any comparison statement is inaccurate, please contact media@pawsitivet.com with evidence and we will review it promptly.
